Our requirements

• Deep understanding of SAN infrastructure, architecture, and functional requirements
• Hands-on experience with block storage platforms such as EMC, Pure, Cisco, and Brocade
• Strong understanding of SAN APIs and platform integrations
• Proficiency in SAN provisioning tasks like SRDF, zoning, and TimeFinder
• Expertise in troubleshooting SAN-related issues and fiber channel technologies
• Familiarity with system maintenance, patching, incident handling, and change processes
• Good scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Puppet
• Experience documenting IT standards and creating service catalog items
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
• Clear understanding of Windows/Linux environments in relation to storage

Optional

• Experience working in Agile environments
• Knowledge of VMware infrastructure and datastore provisioning
• Exposure to HPE or additional Pure storage solutions
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and data protection in enterprise storage
• Familiarity with automation of provisioning and performance monitoring
• Experience leading teams or initiatives in large-scale infrastructure environments
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders

Your responsibilities

• Integrating monitoring tools with core SAN infrastructure APIs
• Reviewing and improving the team’s operational processes and deliverables
• Collaborating with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service value
• Leading initiatives to align storage operations with strategic infrastructure goals
• Managing BAU tasks including provisioning, reclaim, and performance optimization
• Maintaining technical documentation, service catalogs, and IT standards
• Performing patching, system maintenance, incident resolution, and change management
• Ensuring best practices across the global storage estate
• Developing and maintaining technology and process roadmaps for the storage domain
