Our requirements

• Expertise in application design, security, release, testing, and packaging
• Mastery of SQL / no-SQL databases, data pipeline orchestration tools
• Knowledge of concurrent/distributed programming and performance optimisation methods
• Strong Python up-to-date skills, including web development, cloud (ideally Azure), Docker, testing, and DevOps
• Familiarity with Data engineering (PySpark, lakehouses, Kafka) is a plus
• Good understanding of maths, finance, as the role interacts with quant devs, analysts, and traders
• Financial and/or trading exposure is nice to have, particularly for energy commodities
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required

Your responsibilities

• Productionise quant models into software applications, ensuring robust day-to-day operation
• Translate the trader or quant analyst’s needs into software product requirements
• Prototype and implement data pipelines
• Coordinate closely with analysts and quants during the development of models
• Act as a technical support and coach
• Produce accurate, performant, scalable, secure software, and support best practices following defined IT standards
• Transform proof of concepts into a larger deployable product
• Ensure that documentation and explanations of results of analysis or modelling are fit for purpose for both a technical and non-technical audience
