You will design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and solutions that support data-driven decision-making. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Architects, and Software Engineers to create reliable, secure, and high-performing systems.We expect candidates to be located in one of the following cities: Warsaw, Wroclaw, Lodz, Gdansk or Bialystok.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processesWork with structured and unstructured data from various sourcesCollaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Business Analysts to meet data requirementsImplement data quality, data validation, and monitoring practicesParticipate in architecture and design discussions to build modern, cloud-native data platformsMaintain and optimize data storage solutions (data lakes, data warehouses)Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of dataSupport the deployment of machine learning models into productionContinuously improve performance, reliability, and scalability of our data systems

Ideally you have:Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processesSolid programming skills in PythonDeep knowledge of SQL, including query performance tuning and database optimization techniquesExperience in building and maintaining data pipelines using modern orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, dbt, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric Pipelines and Dataflows)Experience in Azure cloud platform (ADLS Gen2, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Functions, Event Hub / Event Grid, Cosmos DB, SQL Database, etc.)Hands-on experience with big data tools such as Spark (Databricks), Kafka or Azure Event Hub)Solid understanding of data security, privacy, and governance best practices (e.g., RBAC, data lineage, GDPR)Experience with data warehousing tools like Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse / WarehouseFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teamsStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skills.Upper-intermediate English or aboveNice to have:Data Visualization: Power BIMonitoring/logging tools: Azure Monitor, Log AnalyticsFamiliarity with Delta Lake / Medallion ArchitectureInfrastructure as Code: Bicep
