About the project:Our client is focused on developing a DataHub to store accounting information from different geographical locations.The goal is to create efficient, user-friendly, and scalable solutions that can be used by multiple teams across the company.They believe that strong and robust data products help mitigate risks and improve operational capability within their Group.They manage vast amounts of data from Accounting systems, stored in a data lake.Our client works using SCRUM/Agile methodology, believing that continuous delivery and quick feedback loops are key to success and client satisfaction.Their technology stack includes: Scala, SQL/HQL, Airflow, ControlM, Jenkins, GitHub, Hive, Databricks, Azure, S3.They ensure top quality through Unit Testing, Automation, and rigorous Code Reviews.Your Responsibilities:Develop end-to-end ETL processes using Spark/Scala (including data lake transfers, technical validations, and business logic implementation).Work within a Scrum team to deliver high-quality solutions.Document solutions using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ALM.Design, perform, and certify delivery testing, ensuring integration with other components and overall quality.

Kogo poszukujemy? We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Spark and Scala to join one of our client projects. You will be employed by us and work closely with the client’s team (Santander Bank) on exciting initiatives.Work mode: Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office (Warsaw)Required Qualifications:At least 7 years of experience in software development.Minimum 3 years of experience developing backend applications with Big Data technologies, preferably Spark with Scala.Agile mindset and experience working within Agile teams.Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Git, GitHub, Jenkins).Strong SQL skills.English proficiency at B2+ level.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in frontend development (React, TypeScript, Next.js, Qlik).Jenkins orchestration experience.Bash scripting skills.Knowledge of ControlM.Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle tools (e.g., HP ALM).Basics of cybersecurity and code quality assurance (e.g., SonarQube).Cloud technologies experience (Docker, Kubernetes, OS3, Azure, AWS)Spanish language skills would be a plus.
