Our client, an international leader delivering innovative solutions worldwide, is seeking an experienced finance professional to become part of the tax department.

This team plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely and regulation-compliant tax reporting that underpins both operational needs and long-term business strategy.

Key Details:

• Location: Kraków; mainly remote (approx. 1–2 office visits per month)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours daily (flexible)

• Languages: Polish & English

• Contract: long-term employment contract

• Level: Senior / Expert

• Salary: 16 000 – 18 000 PLN gross

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the compilation and verification of consolidated tax reports, including deferred tax calculations and effective tax rate metrics, in line with global accounting frameworks.

• Partner with regional accounting teams to collect, confirm and integrate tax data during critical reporting timelines.

• Deliver clear commentary on tax results and fluctuations, enabling leadership to act on reliable insights.

• Project upcoming tax liabilities and cash flow impacts, ensuring compliance readiness and informed strategic planning.

• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end reviews, ensuring smooth information flow and high-quality deliverables.

• Drive enhancements in reporting accuracy, process effectiveness and the use of financial systems.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in group-level tax and statutory reporting.

• Solid grounding in accounting principles, preferably in an international corporate environment.

• High proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
