Business Development Specialist (IT Services)

Remote (Kraków) – with occasional on-site collaboration at our office

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist with a profound understanding of B2B sales in the Software House industry and keen insight into current market and IT challenges. This role works closely with a Sales Manager/ CEO and is supported by a Lead Generation Specialist who is responsible for the pre-sales process.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, ambitious, and energetic individual with a strategic, relentless, and hunter’s mindset. You should be driven by the thrill of opening doors, initiating conversations from scratch, and turning them into successful deals. You will know how to effectively position value in the market and inspire both clients and the team with your ideas. You are a person who drives team success and wants to do "something cool" in a flexible environment that supports an innovative approach to projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full sales cycle of IT solutions, from client acquisition to final negotiations

  • Co-creating sales development strategies and optimizing internal sales processes

  • Managing the sales pipeline in CRM (HubSpot), including sales reporting and forecasting

  • Supporting product and strategy brainstorms, with a focus on innovation and aesthetic solutions

  • Analyzing and mapping sales and marketing integration processes with potential clients

  • Supporting the business in defining requirements, close collaboration with clients, and recommending selected solutions

  • Designing automation processes for the sales team's work

  • Building product sales strategies

  • Cooperation with marketing and performance marketing, content design, Project Manger / Delivery department as part of conducted campaigns

  • Participation in workshops (including on-site meetings with clients)

  • Opportunity for business travel to international events in Europe and the Middle East

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in B2B sales or business development within a software house or IT company

  • Outstanding communication skills: open, proactive, and transparent - that will help you expand your network

  • Ability to leverage your professional network and industry experience to generate new business opportunities and acquire new customers

  • Fluent in Polish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both a business and technical context

  • Proven track record of high-volume sales, with a minimum sales record of 500k EUR per year.

  • Experience in managing client accounts (account management)

  • Strong Lead Generation skills, including a proven ability to generate your own leads and leverage a personal network

  • Ability to use AI tools to streamline and optimise sales processes

  • A strategic and visionary mindset, combined with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • A proactive, goal-oriented, and self-starter attitude, with a high degree of independence in action

  • A strong sense of ownership and the ability to innovate and inspire people

  • Deep understanding of global market trends in technology and a passion for driving growth

  • Experience in our key sectors is a plus: FinTech, FoodTech, or Building & Construction

  • Proficiency with a Sales CRM, such as HubSpot, is a strong plus
