We are looking for an Outfitting Design Engineer for our partner, who specializes in comprehensive engineering services covering all stages of ship design.

This will be your future job

  • Basis and detailed design of vessel equipment
  • Design and layout planning for anchor, mooring, and deck systems
  • Production of detailed technical drawings using Cadmatic Outfitting and AutoCAD
  • Collaboration with naval architecture teams for integrated design solutions
  • Execution of site inspections for design compliance
  • Preparation of technical specifications for outfitting equipment and materials
  • Supplier coordination for outfitting component procurement
  • Review and approval of vendor technical documentation

What you bring to the table

  • Proficiency in Cadmatic Outfitting and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of anchor, mooring, and deck arrangement principles
  • Background in vessel and ship equipment design
  • Experience in marine or offshore engineering environments (preferred)
  • Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related discipline
  • Strong ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
  • English language proficiency at minimum B2/C1 level (spoken and written)
