Data Quality & Governance Engineer – On-site in Abu Dhabi

📍 Location: Abu Dhabi (100% on-site) | Start: May 30, 2025 | Duration: 12 months+ | Full-time

Join one of the world’s top airlines, renowned for excellence in service and innovation. You’ll contribute to the development of a brand-new finance data platform, working in an international environment with experts from Europe and India.

🔍 About the Project

You’ll be a key contributor to a greenfield data platform project set in an Azure / Databricks ecosystem. The project includes multiple data-focused streams, and your role will focus on data governance and quality assurance across the platform.

📌 What You’ll Do

• Define and implement data quality rules – both technical and business-oriented
• Establish and manage data lifecycle standards and usage policies
• Develop documentation and lead workshops for business users
• Collaborate closely with technical teams and data owners to align standards and practices

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives
• Familiarity with tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or similar
• Solid understanding of data cataloging, lifecycle management, and classification
• Ability to work with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical specifications
• Proficient in Python and SQL

✨ Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Databricks
• Strong knowledge of Collibra is a big advantage

💬 Soft Skills & Language

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• English level: B2 or higher (C1/C2 preferred)
