Your responsibilities:

• Lead an accounting team of five specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

• Analyze financial data and present insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Maintain and review the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare and post journal entries for routine and non-routine transactions.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Coordinate fixed assets process and register.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.

• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

• Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Min 2 years of experience in General Ledger accounting or a similar role with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

• English language knowledge (C1).

• Experience with accounting software e.g. SAP S/4HANA will be an asset.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards is a plus
