We are looking for an experienced HSES Officer to join a dynamic team delivering a major industrial project. The selected candidate will support the HSES Manager in maintaining the highest safety standards during the construction and commissioning phases of the site.

Key responsibilities:

• Promote and enforce the 12 Life Saving Rules and a strong "Safety First" culture

• Supervise subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with HSES regulations

• Review and validate subcontractor HSES documentation, including plans and risk assessments

• Ensure adherence to local regulations, project-specific standards, and client requirements

• Perform daily safety inspections and audits

• Manage and validate Safe Work Permits and special work notifications (e.g. confined space, heavy lifting, radiography, pneumatic and hydraulic systems)

• Deliver HSES-related training sessions (e.g. site induction, toolbox talks, work at height, confined space)

• Participate in coordination and safety meetings with subcontractors

• Lead emergency response planning and implementation for the site

• Report unsafe acts and conditions, propose corrective actions, and ensure closure

• Possess the authority to stop work in case of unacceptable safety risks

Ideal candidate profile:

• Minimum 8 years of experience on construction sites in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Industry

• Basic NEBOSH certification (or equivalent safety certification)

• Proven expertise in contractor management and safety audits

• Advanced knowledge of commissioning and HSES procedures

• Valid medical fitness for working in industrial site environments

• Strong communication skills, ability to work in an international and fast-paced setting

Conditions:

• Full-time engagement in Płock – on-site presence required, 10 hours per day, 5 days a week
