About the project

• We are looking for a talented Automation Tester to join our team and help us harness the power of data to grow our business. We need you to help us ensure the accuracy, consistency, and performance of data reporting and analytics processes by automating test cases for data pipelines, dashboards, and reports. This will help identify issues early and ensure reliable data-driven decision-making.

Your responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for BI applications, including data integration, reporting, and analytics
• Verifying the accuracy and integrity of data by comparing data sources and ensuring data transformations are correctly implemented
• Assessing the performance and scalability of BI applications, BI reports, and dashboards under various load conditions
• Collaborating with PO and team members to define testing strategies, objectives, priorities, and scope for BI projects
• Ensuring the quality of release builds by verifying automated test results and preventing critical issues
• Performing regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities
• Generating test reports and metrics to provide insights on testing progress, coverage, and quality. Defining and tracking test metrics (coverage, pass rate)
• Implementing monitoring and logging for tests

Our requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position – working with Python and .NET
• Hands-on experience with PowerBI reports (deployment and management via PowerBI API)
• Knowledge of engineering best practices, including Unit Testing (NUnit), Mocking, etc.
• Experience with Data Build tool, Dbt tests
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Fluent in data security best practices and governance
• Very good written and spoken English
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required
