Your responsibilities

• Development of new features for our next-generation personal Intelligent Assistant;
• Implementation, localization, and improvement of Intelligent Assistant applications from the natural language (NL) perspective (NL training, language resources, annotation);
• Maintenance of test set annotation and end-to-end testing on various devices;
• Real world scenario and dialog modelling;
• Collaboration with NLP (natural language processing) engineers;
• Other linguistic tasks depending on actual needs, including development of new linguistic resources.

Our requirements

• To apply, you must fit one of the two profiles below:
• • Bachelor's or master's degree in linguistics, philology or related fields.
• o German and English language skills at the C1-C2 level.
• o Knowledge of grammar, especially syntax (experience in formal grammars is an advantage);
• and/or
• • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, telecommunications or related fields.
• o German and English language skills at the C1-C2 level.
• In both cases, we also require:
• • Time availability: full-time.
• • Interest in linguistics, Artificial Intelligence and/or Natural Language Processing (especially with a focus on Natural Language Understanding), Large Language Models, etc.;
• • Eager to learn and use new technologies.

Optional

• Knowledge of other foreign languages;
• Previous experience in computational linguistics or NLP/NLU positions;
• Skills in Linux, Git (both command-line and platforms such as Github and Gitlab);
• Practical knowledge and/or interest in programming with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, JS);
• Experience in regular expressions.
