About the project

• We are seeking a Junior Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Kong Konnect to join our Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on enabling self-service API management, governance, and observability across the organization. The ideal candidate will also bring hands-on experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure, helping to scale and operate the API platform across hybrid cloud environments.

Your responsibilities

• Kong support and operation;
• Infrastructure management;
• Provide guidance on using Kong features and best practices within the organization.

Our requirements

• Experience with Kong Gateway, including Kong Konnect in production environments;
• Experience working as part of a platform engineering or infrastructure team;
• Strong knowledge of API management, REST and microservices architecture;
• Kubernetes experience is strongly recommended, including managing services and ingress through Kong Gateway;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Helm and GitOps practices;
• Understanding of identity and security protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect and JWT;
• Strong scripting or automation experience (e.g., Bash, Python).
