Your responsibilities

• Oversee and support the month-end and year-end financial closing activities
• Prepare and review financial reports and statements in line with IFRS and local (Polish) accounting principles
• Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors during audits and tax-related matters
• Guide and support junior members of the accounting team
• Drive initiatives for improving efficiency and reducing operational costs
• Monitor adherence to Polish tax laws and statutory reporting obligations
• Deliver financial insights and guidance to assist strategic management decisions
• Maintain strong working relationships with external partners, including banks and tax institutions

Employer requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
• Fluency in Polish and English (both written and spoken)
• Knowledge of IFRS and Polish accounting standards
• At least 3 years of professional experience in an accounting role
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting
• Good knowledge of Polish tax laws and statutory reporting obligations
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
