Your responsibilities

• Plan, manage and conduct sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ, e-auction) for IT category in different UPM businesses
• Perform contract management activities
• Provide sourcing & procurement expertise, guide and influence stakeholders in managing complex sourcing projects
• Implement change management and new ways of working within the IT community
• Ensure compliance and risk management within contract and supplier bases
• Identify opportunities to optimize spend and supply base
• Create efficient sourcing tactics for sourcing event execution
• Analyse and evaluate supplier's performance, manage supply base
• Use e-sourcing platform to enhance sourcing event execution
• Ensure efficient, effective Source-to-Contract process implementation in your everyday work

Our requirements

• You have a Master’s degree or other relevant professional qualification in related area.
• You are interested in new technologies, AI, digitalization. Previous experience within IT category sourcing would be beneficial.
• You are fluent in English. Additionally, skills in other languages relevant in UPM major markets are considered valuable (e.g. Finnish, German, French)
• Experience of SAP Ariba and other Sourcing tools is seen as beneficial.
• You are service-oriented person with advanced communication as well as influencing and negotiation skills
• You have solid relationship management skills, you value diversity and different perspectives
• You have good collaboration and team-working skills with flexible and innovative strategies for facing changes
• You have self-management skills and are willing to take initiative and consider new perspectives
