Your responsibilities

  • Operate within a matrix leadership structure, collaborating with a peer manager focused on process and supplier escalations.
  • Take ownership of team performance and supplier efficiency, with clearly defined responsibilities to ensure clarity and impact.
  • Lead onboarding, coaching, and performance monitoring for planners, ensuring adherence to standard routines.
  • Oversee order fulfillment activities, ensuring smooth and timely execution.
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify gaps to drive delivery improvements.
  • Maintain strict control over the On Time Delivery (OTD) goal.
  • Work closely with suppliers to expedite materials and resolve back orders quickly.
  • Ensure the team responds effectively to internal requests, especially regarding Promise Dates (Pdate) for back-ordered items.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to optimize order volumes and lead times.
  • Conduct supplier visits when needed to strengthen collaboration and resolve issues.

Our requirements

  • Strong people leadership and coaching skills
  • Fluency in English, German language skills are a plus
  • Operational discipline and attention to detail
  • Ability to drive consistency across a growing team
  • Clear communication and collaboration in a dual-leadership model
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in working with SAP
  • Customer oriented
  • Proven experience in Supply Management or Logistics (6+ years)
  • MS-Office (advanced in Excel)
  • Education in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management correlated areas
  • Leadership skills and team player attitude
  • Metrics-driven person
