About the project

• Hi, there! We’re on the lookout for a skilled Senior Java Developer who's ready to take the leap into a Technical Lead position. This is a long-term opportunity within the investment banking space, where you'll help shape modern platforms that support global market financing. You'll be collaborating closely with distributed teams across multiple regions.
• 📍 Location: Hybrid model – Kraków, Poland (2–3 days/week onsite)
• 📅 Start Date: August or September | Duration: 12 months
• 🌍 Sector: Banking & Finance

Your responsibilities

• Develop and test scalable, high-performance applications
• Drive architecture and design discussions
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level issues
• Collaborate closely to clarify requirements and reduce uncertainty

Our requirements

• Availability to start in August or September
• Willingness to work on-site in Kraków 2–3 times per week
• Solid Java expertise (7+ years in enterprise development)
• Proficiency in Spring & Hibernate
• Experience with messaging tools (JMS, Kafka)
• Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows
• Strong SQL knowledge & database optimization skills
• Testing mindset (TDD/BDD)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English
• Proven leadership in tech or team lead roles
