About the project

• ALTEN is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team working on innovative testing solutions for web applications. The ideal candidate is an expert in Python automation with hands-on experience in end-to-end testing tools, CI/CD practices, and web technologies.
• Location: Preferably Wrocław – hybrid model (1 day/month in the office preferred), but 100% remote is also possible.
• Start: ASAP – first working day required on-site in Wrocław

Your responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Python-based automated UI test scripts
• Designing test plans, test cases, and test data for web applications
• Collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA peers
• Executing tests, analysing results, and reporting bugs
• Improving testing frameworks, processes, and documentation
• Supporting CI/CD and performance testing workflows

Our requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software testing or QA engineering
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with UI testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile workflows
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Optional

• Experience with Performance Testing
• Familiarity with LLM-based testing or AI tools (bonus for Daisuke’s team)
