Your responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting for the subsidiary in accordance with local accounting and tax regulations in Poland.
• Prepare and approve financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, in compliance with applicable standards (local and US GAAP, etc.).
• Supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
• Collaborate with external auditors and prepare documentation for audits.
• Prepare tax filings (VAT, CIT, other mandatory reports).
• Handle intercompany transactions and consolidation between subsidiaries in different regions.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll requirements.

Our requirements

• Min. 5 years of experience in Senior Accountant role, at the entity level.
• Min. 7 years of experience with Polish accounting and tax regulations.
• Ability to work individually, without direct supervision and in a distributed, international environment.
• Background in international or cross-border operations.
• Practical and proven skills in calculating tax (VAT, CIT), preparing financial statements and account reconcialition.
• Fluent in English and Polish, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, and experience with ERP systems.
• Proactive mindset and readiness to work in an international team.
