Your responsibilities

• Ensure deployment of design guidelines, methods, and tools for produced items.
• Apply best practices in product knowledge through continuous collaboration with the R&D networks in Europe.
• Develop and implement a robust scheduling system that harmonizes the variable timelines of customized product development with fixed deadlines for semi-finished parts production.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential conflicts between R&D projects and production schedules.
• Collaborate closely with production planning and scheduling teams to incorporate R&D activities into the factory’s overall schedule without compromising production goals.
• Utilize agile planning techniques to adapt to the variability of customized product development while meeting the rigid scheduling demands of semi-finished parts.
• Act as liaison between R&D and production teams, fostering communication and collaboration to ensure efficient operation of both streams.
• Develop prioritization processes for R&D activities considering their impact on customized product development and semi-finished parts production.
• Ensure that testing and prototyping of customized products do not disrupt the flow of semi-finished parts production.
• Support business continuity topics from the perspective of engineering changes and engineering support.

Our requirements

• Proven experience in R&D coordination, or related roles in medium to large structured manufacturing companies.
• Strong knowledge of product development processes and production workflows, preferably in HVAC or sheet metal industries.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strategic mindset.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments and international teams.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Higher technical education.
• Proficient in English at a communicative level.
