About the project

• We are looking for a Section Lead to drive the development of our data infrastructure team. You will lead the design and implementation of data frameworks, platforms, and tools that enable robust data ingestion, pipelines and analytics capabilities across both on-premise and cloud environments. This is an excellent opportunity to shape the foundation of our data management and empower data and business teams across the organization.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and manage an engineering team focused on building and scaling data infrastructure platforms and tools.
• Oversee the development of frameworks and services that support seamless data ingestion, transformation and analytics.
• Ensure data infrastructure is robust, secure, scalable and compliant with organizational policies.
• Manage solutions across hybrid environments including cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and on-premise data centers.
• Collaborate closely with data engineering, data science, analytics and operations teams to deliver integrated data solutions.
• Provide leadership and mentor team members to foster professional growth and excellence.
• Drive adoption of best practices in data platform development.
• Work with product and business partners to align data infrastructure capabilities with strategic objectives.

Our requirements

• Proven experience leading data/ platform/ engineering teams or data transformation projects.
• Background in data engineering/ analytics.
• Familiarity with data management processes incl. data governance.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud computing, modern data platforms architecture.
