Your responsibilities

  • Shaping the Company’s accounting policy,
  • Supervising the Company’s accounting and financial reporting in accordance with applicable legal regulations,
  • Controlling financial documents and supervising their proper circulation,
  • Overseeing settlements with employees and contractors,
  • Supervising the accuracy and timeliness of mandatory settlements – tax and other,
  • Preparing financial statements,
  • Preparing other reports and statements required by the Company and external institutions,
  • Monitoring changes in legal and tax regulations and implementing procedures to minimize tax risks,
  • Supervising tax matters and preparing and submitting tax declarations on time,
  • Collaborating with other departments, auditors, and external institutions (Tax Office, Social Insurance Institution, Statistics Office, National Bank of Poland),
  • Maintaining fixed asset records,
  • Analyzing accounting and organizational processes and initiating improvement measures,
  • Ongoing control of the correctness of accounting entries,
  • Posting invoices,
  • Close cooperation with other departments and the Company’s contractors, including monitoring contracts with investors and subcontractors, handling interim and final settlements for the Company’s investment projects,
  • Executing transfers, payments, and financial operations,
  • Acquiring grants and subsidies for the company,
  • Cooperation with banks.
  • Preparation of the annual balance sheet
  • Settlement of domestic and foreign delegations

Employer requirements

  • Higher education in economics with a major in finance or accounting,
  • Very good knowledge of Polish regulations, including the Accounting Act, tax law, and management accounting principles,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and accounting,
  • Proficiency in office software, especially spreadsheets,
  • Experience with integrated financial and accounting software packages,
  • Ability to plan and organize work, solve problems, and work in a team,
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written,
  • Authorization to independently maintain accounting books,
  • High level of responsibility,
  • Accuracy, reliability, and good organizational skills,
  • Familiarity with Enova365 software will be an advantage.
