Your responsibilities

  • acting as the primary point of contact for the international accounting representatives for inquiries related to Coupa
  • independently analysing and assessing accounting process flows in global units
  • implementing global Coupa accounting standards during International Coupa Invoice roll-outs and ensuring compliance across various entities
  • supporting local accounting teams in adapting their processes to meet global system standards
  • implementing the invoicing process in Coupa, while combining this with accounting and bookkeeping requirements (provisions, advance payments, rebookings, taxes)
  • organising, facilitating, and driving regular knowledge transfer within the organisation through training sessions and workshops
  • creating globally applicable documents for accounting requirements in Coupa, serving as guidelines for the implementation of accounting standards
  • representing accounting standards in Coupa roll-out projects in foreign subsidiaries in collaboration with local accounting experts and the IT department
  • working closely with the central Coupa Team to ensure the development of the system and the implementation of further/new Accounting requirements

Our requirements

  • fluency in English (C1)
  • good language skills in German (B1/B2)
  • university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • several years of professional experience in accounting, tax, and/or financial reporting, preferably in an international environment
  • strong knowledge of the Coupa platform, especially the Invoice module (preferably holding the Coupa Administrator certification)
  • interest in IT and an understanding of accounting processes
  • self-directed, structured, solution-oriented work style that supports teamwork, bringing together different perspectives
  • willingness to travel for international assignments and meetings
