About the project

• We are looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Data Center migrations, and networking. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions, including complex Infra, Automation (Terraform) and Networking tasks.

Your responsibilities

• Lead Data Center to GCP migrations, including VMware workloads via GCVE.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-availability cloud infrastructure.
• Build and manage network architectures on GCP (VPCs, VPNs, Cloud Interconnect, Load Balancers).
• Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to ensure compliance and reliability.
• Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform and scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
• Monitor infrastructure with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Operations Suite.

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering on GCP.
• Proven experience in Data Center migrations to GCP and working with GCVE.
• Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, e.g., GCP Operations Suite, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ideally Professional Cloud Network Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect (GCP) certification.
• Fluency in Italian (spoken and written), good English
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
