Your responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, direction, and continuous development for the Service Team - responsible for performance management and accountable for the Service budget
  • Develops the strategy for the Service area in cooperation with the global Shared Service Center
  • Identifies risks for business strategy implementation and cooperates with COEs to provide the right support resources
  • Prioritizes solutions that deliver the greatest value to the team member experience
  • Manages the optimization of transactional People processes across all People functions and fosters a culture of questioning existing processes
  • Leads the expansion of a knowledge management concept (process documentation, training materials)
  • Initiates and leads the development and implementation of a service level concept - defines People reporting with relevant KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the People function and the health of the company; ensures regular reporting
  • Develops the Workforce Analytics area to enable actionable recommendations across People teams
  • Builds an understanding of the team member experience perspective to provide relevant insights to the People Lead or COEs and ensure local issues are appropriately considered in strategy and priority setting
  • Uses relevant data/COE metrics/indicators to gain insights into people-related matters, providing stakeholders with the necessary clarity for people, initiatives, and priorities

Our requirements

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable service-oriented position
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed environment, supporting multiple countries or regions with a strong stakeholder and candidate-focused mindset
  • Experience with SAP HR and Workday as well as knowledge of case management tools
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills at all hierarchical levels and in an international environment
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across functions and geographies
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with proven experience in driving process optimization projects
