About the project

• We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to manage and maintain our Windows-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and performance of the organization’s Windows environment. This role involves troubleshooting, optimizing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support critical business operations.

Your responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Windows systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell scripting.
• Collaborate with other IT teams for infrastructure and application deployment.
• Document system configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.

Our requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Windows Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments (e.g., Server 2016, 2019, 2022).
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP management.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and task management.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
• Understanding of networking protocols and firewalls in Windows environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools like System Center, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Optional

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator or Azure Administrator Associate.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and IIS administration.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools and SIEM solutions.
