Your responsibilities

• leading a flat-agile organisation of around 20 direct reports (engineers, product managers, project managers), coaching squads through discovery, build and launch
• serving as the primary liaison between Munich Re and ERGO business units, Data Science and local IT, translating strategy into clear, value-based backlogs
• supporting the global GenAI roadmap, balancing regional priorities, capacity and budget
• running agile governance, outcome-driven KPIs and risk routines to keep releases on-time, on-budget and in-scope
• partnering with Data Science units to productionise cutting-edge models, achieving targets for reliability, latency, security and privacy
• ensuring every GenAI solution complies with global regulations and internal Responsible-AI as well as security and data-governance standards
• delivering executive-ready communications: status, risks, mitigations and post-launch impact to board members and regional stakeholders
• cultivating a culture of rapid learning, experimentation and continuous improvement across borders and disciplines

Our requirements

• fluency in English (C1)
• 5 + years of programme/delivery management for AI/ML or other complex global software products
• proven success managing 10+ person teams in a flat, agile setup across multiple regions
• deep knowledge of Generative AI (LLMs, fine-tuning, RAG, vector search) and the full product lifecycle
• hands-on expertise with agile frameworks and modern DevOps/MLOps practices in distributed environments
• experience working with Azure DevOps/Jira, Git, Python notebooks and BI dashboards
• exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, being able to translate complex technical topics into clear business language for C-suite leaders
• familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and global compliance frameworks (GDPR, EU AI Act)
• degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or comparable business education would be advantageous
