• OtC Junior Accountant

• About the role:
• As an OtC (Order to Cash) Junior Accountant at DFDS, you will join either our Invoicing team or our Credit Control team, depending on your skills and interests. Both teams play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a smooth flow of information between the business and our customers. Depending on the team, your tasks may include:
• Invoicing area:
• • Preparing and generating accurate invoices.
• • Recording and verifying financial data in accounting systems.
• vMaintaining organized records of invoices and financial documents.
• • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth billing processes.
• • Supporting compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• • Assisting in the preparation of reports related to invoicing.
• • Resolving billing issues and discrepancies efficiently.
• • Utilizing accounting software to streamline invoicing processes.
• Credit Control area:
• • Monitoring customer payments and reconciling accounts.
• • Implementing strategies for timely collections.
• • Maintaining communication with customers and resolving disputes.
• • Keeping accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
• • Preparing reports on credit and collection performance.
• • Cooperating with other departments to address customer concerns.
• • Identifying opportunities to improve credit control processes.

• • Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance will be an asset
• • Basic Skills: Understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Excel
• • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in data analysis
• • Organization: Ability to manage tasks efficiently and prioritize workload
• • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for teamwork
• • Language: English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, both spoken and written

• • Time Management: Efficient use of time to meet deadlines
• • Ethical Conduct: Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality
