Your responsibilities

• Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to achieve cost efficiency, quality improvements, supply security, and sustainability standards.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
• Negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Monitoring global market trends, raw material prices, and industry developments to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including sales, product management, engineering, and project teams.
• Conducting reporting of results and performance.

Our requirements

• Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, or relevant fields.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on metals – preferably within the steel market.
• Self-driven, with an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while being integrated within cross-functional international teams.
• Fluency in English; German language skills preferred.
• Willingness to travel globally as required for supplier visits and industry events.
