About the project

• With our client we are building (modernising) the next generation data platform, powered by Snowflake, Kafka, Flink, AWS. It will redefine how their customers bring lifesaving and life-changing products to market. We are looking for an Data Platform Operations engineer who will build, maintain and enhance our client data platform infrastructure. This Data Platform Operations Engineer role is crucial in our client’s important work of helping their customers get the actionable insights they need from their quality and manufacturing processes.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade data platform.
• Design and develop dashboards providing deep insights into the health and usage of our
• data platform.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and privacy to maintain the
• highest standards for data integrity.
• Understand and integrate our analytics tools, including our BI platform, with multiple
• data products, ensuring high-quality delivery of data to our customers.
• Create and maintain documentation for our analytics services and capabilities.
• Work with data engineers, BI engineers, and product managers to translate business
• requirements to technical specifications for data platform operations capabilities.
• Automating the process of releasing updates to data products with the highest quality.
• Foster collaboration in team and cross-team settings.
• Support development and telemetry of scalable and reliable data pipelines.

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, information systems, computer science, data science, or
• equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in DataOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience with AWS DMS
• SQL/RDS
• DevOps related
• Terraform, Terragrunt
• GitHub Actions
• Kubernetes (EKS, ArgoCD, Istio)
• AWS
• Grafana, Prometheus
• Experience with one or more languages (Python or Java)
• Knowledge of relational, dimensional, and other data modeling
• Experience integrating BI Platforms like Sisense
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and team skills
