About the project

• We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a long-term project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business process modelling, requirements analysis, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Your responsibilities

• Model and document value chains/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data.
• Elicit and analyze business needs, functional requirements, and user stories.
• Support business experts and product owners in defining software requirements.
• Track and maintain requirements/user stories throughout the systems development lifecycle.
• Translate business, user, and technical needs into detailed business requirement specifications.
• Map business goals, project benefits, priorities, and system features.
• Analyze existing systems and support the identification of potential solutions.
• Assist in preparing business cases and feasibility studies.
• Contribute to system design, testing, quality assurance, and change management processes.
• Design, validate, and test business processes to ensure excellence.
• Take a holistic approach in planning and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach staff on upcoming changes, including training in new skills or processes.
• Collaborate with end-to-end process owners to drive process improvements.
• Identify business process optimization opportunities that enhance customer service, reduce costs, or increase efficiency.
• Communicate project objectives, business cases, and scope to stakeholders to enable swift responses to evolving business needs.
• Perform quantitative analysis of business processes, including cost-benefit and what-if analysis.
• Plan and support organizational change initiatives.
• Implement performance monitoring systems for business processes.
• Support the development of strategic and tactical plans (e.g., sector strategies, implementation roadmaps).
• Assist in defining transition roadmaps for business architecture.

Our requirements

• Fluent in Polish and English (both spoken and written)
• Experience as a Business Analyst in projects focused on value stream mapping and business process redesign.
• Involvement in projects involving the analysis, design, implementation, and deployment of ICT solutions related to content production or hierarchical reporting.
• Skilled in organizing and managing structured and unstructured workshops/interviews (including designing questionnaires).
• Experience in conducting market studies and research.
• Completed at least one full software development lifecycle as a Business Analyst.
• Proficiency in business process modeling using BPMN.
• Expertise in eliciting and analyzing requirements and user stories.
• Familiarity with analysis and modeling notations such as UML (capability diagrams, activity diagrams, state diagrams, logical data models, etc.).
• Skilled in using modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or similar.
• Excellent analytical thinking and communication abilities.
• Capable of creating and maintaining detailed analytical and project documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Availability to arrive in Warsaw within 2 hours upon request from the client.
• Certificates (must have one of the following): Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified UML Professional – Foundation Level, BPM 2 – Fundamental Level or Other internationally recognized equivalent certifications
