About the project

• We are seeking a skilled Security Administrator - Antivirus to manage and optimize the organization’s endpoint security systems. The ideal candidate will focus on implementing, maintaining, and monitoring antivirus solutions to protect against malware and other cyber threats. This role involves working closely with IT and security teams to ensure robust endpoint protection across all systems.

Your responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain antivirus software and endpoint protection solutions.
• Monitor and analyze threat alerts and security logs to detect and mitigate malware attacks.
• Perform regular antivirus updates, patch management, and signature deployment.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents related to malware and viruses.
• Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure systems meet security standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate antivirus solutions with other security tools.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff on security best practices.
• Document security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

Our requirements

• 3+ years of experience in managing antivirus and endpoint protection systems.
• Proficiency with antivirus platforms such as Symantec Endpoint Protection, McAfee, Trend Micro, CrowdStrike, or Windows Defender ATP.
• Strong understanding of malware analysis, virus behavior, and threat management.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools for log management and analysis.
• Experience in incident response and threat mitigation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Optional

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
• Experience with EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) solutions.
• Knowledge of PowerShell or Python for automation and scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud-based antivirus solutions and SaaS platforms.
• Experience with policy management and compliance frameworks like ISO 27001 or NIST.
