Your responsibilities

• Development and optimization of thermodynamic systems for Laundry Care products.
• Definition of requirements and functional specification for thermodynamic components.
• Coordination and technical oversight of numerical simulations (e.g. CFD, Modelica/Dymola) and test-based model optimization.
• Validation of model-based control and diagnostic functions for thermodynamic systems.
• Creating design and define test specifications in cooperation with test team as well as quality assurance of developed functions through module and integration tests.
• Lead the preparation and execution of system-specific tests in alignment with system architects.
• Cooperation with interdisciplinary teams of Simulation, Verification, Electronic and Software Engineers and also with external development partners.

Our requirements

• Completed higher technical studies, e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronic, faculty of process engineering or similar.
• Experience in the development process of model-based thermodynamic systems, especially heat-pump systems.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer and refrigeration technology.
• Experience in creating 2D/3D documentation (Catia or similar).
• Basic project management skills and proven experience in coordinating simulation, development and testing within development projects.
• Experience in agile development methods.
• Independent, systematic and analytical way of working, strong ability to work in a team and the motivation to integrate into our agile team.
• Advanced communication skills in English is required to ensure smooth communication across international teams.
