Your responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, coordinates and executions detailed phases of technology platform development for product in category of power frequency converters (multi megawatts).
• Defines System Vision & Requirements - Translate market, regulatory, and operational needs into clear technical requirements.
• Defines converter/inverter topology, control methods, and integration approach for company new products
• Performs work that involves conventional engineering practices, but includes a variety of complex features, such as conflicting design requirements and difficult coordination requirements.
• Provides direct support of PMO, sales, manufacturing, purchasing and development
• Sets technical direction on complex projects and problem solving guidance
• Ensures designs meet manufacturability, testability and reliability criteria.
• Design, support and/or test moderate to high complexity systems considering standardization.
• Defines electrical, mechanical, and software integration points.
• Expert knowledge of IEC, CE, UL and Marine standards such as GL, LR, ABS.
• Represent the technical vision in customer and stakeholder meetings.

Our requirements

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering required.
• Greater than 8 years in related field required
• Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations.
• Expert technical writing skills (analysis, reports, etc.)
• Competent complex problem solving/troubleshooting skills for both components and subsystems.
• Knowledge of Engineering quality systems (PLC, Engineering change).
• System lead/architect to the design of complex products/systems.
• Demonstrates leadership skills; ability to drive results across organizational boundaries.
