About the project

• Our client is a leading premium retail brand, with over 350 stores across the U.S. and Canada and annual revenues exceeding $15 billion.
• Project: Infrastructure and Operations, system, and operations support a 24x7x365. For this position, we are looking for a specialist for the first shift (PL timezone): Sun-Wed: (9:00 - 19:00). In the shift we have 4 work days x 10 hours in a day, 40 hours in a week in total.

Your responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure and network hardware
• Maintain and support secure VPN connections, firewalls, and network access controls
• Monitor network performance and availability using network monitoring tools
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and performance issues across sites
• Implement and support routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
• Assist in maintaining network security, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
• Document network configurations, diagrams, and procedures
• Support compliance and security best practices based on relevant standards (ISO, NIST, PCI-DSS)
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve network-related issues
• Participate in incident response and network outage recovery
• (Optional) Contribute to network automation or scripting tasks (Python, Ansible, etc.) if experienced

Our requirements

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and TCP/IP protocols
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network equipment.
• Good communication skills and English
• Virtualization basics and some experience using Hypervisors
• Linux basics
• Version control systems understanding (GitLab/GitHub basics)
• Understanding of basic network security principles (e.g., IDS/IPS, firewalls)
• Familiarity with routing and switching (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting VPNs and firewalls
• Experience with network monitoring tools
• Exposure to security compliance standards (ISO, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.)
• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible)
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar
• Previous experience in supporting multi-site or enterprise networks
