Your responsibilities

• Support Automation, Energy & Integrated Systems division of Kongsberg Maritime,
• Work closely with category managers, product owners, engineering teams, and manufacturing team to align on product quality, manufacturability, and process improvements,
• Work in Supplier Development team which in Strategic Procurement,
• Contribute to products development and strategies with supply chain and strategic procurement perspective,
• Support strategic decisions with measurable data,
• Maintain/develop strong relationships with suppliers,
• Develop poor performing suppliers,
• Facilitate major quality investigation,
• Work with suppliers to verify compliance with Kongsberg requirements,
• Contribute to improvement of requirements, tools and reporting,
• Build relationship with internal and external stakeholders to effectively reach goals.

Our requirements

• In depth understanding of manufacturing processes and their quality & cost drivers for production of:
• Power systems and distribution
• Motors and generator, transformers and reactors
• Electrical, industrial equipment
• Energy storage
• Electro-mechanical assembly
• Relevant experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Quality (at least 5 years).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience of new product introduction, process revalidation and quality improvement.
• Minimum engineering degree linked with above disciplines
• National electrical qualifications (like SEP, DSB) is an asset
• Audit predispositions, knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
• Data analytic skill will be an asset
• Willingness to travel internationally
