• We are seeking an experienced OpenStack Engineer to manage, optimize, and expand our OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of OpenStack components, networking, and storage systems, with a strong focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support and enhance cloud operations.

Twój zakres obowiązków

• Design, deploy, and manage OpenStack environments for private and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• Configure and optimize OpenStack services such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Swift, and Glance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve OpenStack-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Monitor and improve performance across compute, networking, and storage layers.
• Collaborate with storage teams to integrate and manage block storage solutions in OpenStack.
• Automate deployment and configuration tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Implement and enforce security best practices within the OpenStack ecosystem.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for OpenStack environments.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate OpenStack services into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide support and expertise for system migrations, upgrades, and scaling.

Nasze wymagania

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenStack deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of OpenStack components and architecture (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, etc.).
• Proficiency in Linux system administration, including expertise with distributions such as Ubuntu or CentOS.
• Experience with networking protocols and technologies (e.g., VLAN, VXLAN, SDN).
• Knowledge of storage systems and configurations (Ceph, NFS, or iSCSI).
• Familiarity with scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, QEMU).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve OpenStack performance and configuration issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Mile widziane

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and their integration with OpenStack.
• Knowledge of cloud networking solutions such as SDN or NFV.
• Certifications such as Certified OpenStack Administrator (COA).
• Hands-on experience with Ceph storage deployment and tuning.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
