Your responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high-performing payroll team through effective recruitment, development, and performance management,
  • Drive team performance by setting clear objectives and tracking key performance indicators,
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture through regular communication and mentorship,
  • Optimize team efficiency by managing workload distribution and prioritizing tasks,
  • Represent the payroll team in client meetings and act as a primary escalation point,
  • Own the management and improvement of SLA and KPI performance,
  • Demonstrate in-depth expertise in payroll regulations and processes (UK and IE),
  • Oversee the entire payroll cycle, from data collection to payment disbursement, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards,
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll issues and drive process improvements,
  • Utilize SAP and other relevant systems to efficiently manage payroll data and generate accurate reports,
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the payroll service delivery experience,
  • Build strong relationships with the client and client employees through open communication and timely resolution of inquiries.

Our requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in managing payroll teams of at least 10 employees,
  • Proficiency in English allowing for fluent communication both verbal and written,
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes,
  • Experience with SAP payroll systems, Google tools (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft Office,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and team members,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payroll issues.
