Your responsibilities

• Cash Flow Management: Monitor, forecast, and analyze cash flow to ensure healthy liquidity and proactive decision-making.
• Subscription and Residual Revenue Analysis: Track and evaluate trends in subscription and residual based revenue, customer churn, and ARR/MRR metrics.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development of annual and quarterly corporate budgets, working closely with department heads and executive leadership.
• Budget to Actuals: Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results to budgeted figures and provide actionable insights.
• Project Accounting: Establish financial frameworks for projects and services, including revenue recognition, cost tracking, and margin analysis.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare regular internal reports and dashboards for the VP of Finance and Operations, including KPIs relevant to a SaaS model.
• Payroll Analysis: Review payroll processing and perform regular analysis of payroll costs and commissions.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial workflows to support scalability and accuracy.

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a finance role, with at least 2 years in a SaaS or technology company.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, recurring revenue models, and deferred revenue recognition.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Zoho preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities.
