Your responsibilities

• If you would like to take on the exciting challenges of the automotive industry on a daily basis and can keep a cool head even in stressful situations, the following tasks await you after intensive training:
• Analysis of existing purchasing processes
• Standardisation of purchasing processes
• Monitoring and analysis of raw material markets
• Supplier selection, evaluation and development
• Obtaining and comparing quotations
• Implementation of structural cost reductions
• Negotiation of price agreements
• Contract drafting and execution

Our requirements

• We require you to be able to think and act independently and entrepreneurially, to be well organised and a motivated, pragmatic team player with a hands-on mentality who is very familiar with standard office products. In addition, we specifically expect you to have:
• A degree in industrial engineering or business administration
• Alternatively: comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in technical purchasing in the metal and/or plastics industry
• Knowledge of project and process management, ideally in the automotive industry
• Results-oriented approach to work and proven negotiation skills
• Business fluent in written and spoken English, German an advantage
• Willingness to travel extensively in the UK and abroad
