Your responsibilities

• Providing accurate and timely written translation services between English and Ukrainian of reports, operational and administrative documents, technical manuals, briefings, and operational communications.
• Applying and maintaining approved terminology across translated documents.
• Accepting and implementing reviewer/editor feedback to deliver final translations.
• Providing informal interpretation services between English and Ukrainian during training sessions, meetings at a military facility (NOT conference interpreting).
• Cooperating with military personnel to support accurate international cooperation.

Our requirements

• Polish citizenship or valid NATO Secret clearance or ability to obtain one within a short period of time after being notified of a selection for the translator position.
• Relocation to Germany and on-site work in a military unit.
• Proficiency in both English and Ukrainian (IRL Level 3 or higher / Professional working proficiency), with proven written translation skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in translation/interpretation services.
• Typing and computer skills.
• Flexibility to shift work.
• Documents confirming knowledge of Ukrainian and English.
• Document confirming Polish citizenship and/or security clearance certificate.

Optional

• Bachelor or Master degree in Translation, Linguistics or International Relations.
• Experience working in an international military environment, familiarity with military terminology and protocols.
• Experience working in multinational teams or supporting multilingual communications in official or formal contexts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within international teams.
