About the project

• ALTEN is currently supporting a strategic cloud integration project. A newly acquired organization operates fully in Microsoft Azure, while ALTEN’s core infrastructure is built on AWS. We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to analyze the acquired cloud environment and support the smooth integration and migration of services into the AWS ecosystem. The role is based in Kraków, with an expectation to be in the office 2 days per week.
• Location: Kraków (Hybrid – 2 days/week in-office
• Seniority: Senior (6–8 years of experience)
• Language: English (min. B2+)

Your responsibilities

• Analyzing Azure-based applications and infrastructure to support migration
• Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Leading cloud migration initiatives from Azure to AWS
• Collaborating with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams across environments
• Managing access controls with IAM, PIM, and MFA
• Reviewing application architecture and integrations
• Utilizing monitoring/logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK)
• Translating technical solutions into business value for stakeholders

Our requirements

• 6+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering, especially in Azure environments
• Strong experience in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline design
• Successful track record in cloud migration projects
• Experience with automation tools, scripting, and infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with IAM tools, Privileged Identity Management, and MFA
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and serverless patterns
