About the project

• We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Backend (GoLang) Developer to join our growing Samsung Ads team. As Backend Developer, you will contribute to development and buildout of components of Samsung’s Ads Tech solution.
• You will be closely working with the local team in Warsaw, having also many opportunities of collaboration with Samsung’s remote teams across the globe (US, Korea, India) to help implement and deploy services.
• Expertise you bring to the team, will play a crucial role in building modern, well performing, services which we will use to deliver targeted ads to our users. On daily basis, you will be collaborating with other professionals around design, implementation, architecture and review of the source code, followed by delivery of proper documentation and quality.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, product managers and other engineers to provide best solution for our ads platform
• Participate in R&D projects in the area of Samsung Ads (Ad Tech)
• Establish and follow best coding practices
• Ensure software quality: create and maintain unit, integration and functional tests, participate in code review
• Report tasks progress
• Supports and mentor less experienced colleagues

Our requirements

• At least 7 years of commercial experience in developing Backend
• At least 3 years of commercial experience in programing with GoLang
• Knowledge of database (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience in working with Docker
• Knowledge of Ad Tech
• Experience in working with AWS
• Experience in working with Redis
• Knowledge of Design Patterns
• Knowledge of version control system: Git
• Proficiency in English, to communicate with global team and understand technical documentation
• University degree in Computer Sciences, Telecommunication and/ or similar

Optional

• Experience in working with Kubernetes
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience in working with Kafka
• Experience in usage and administration of Amazon Web Services
• Experience in development of micro services/server less solutions
