  • We are looking for someone who not only understands technology but also excels at building relationships within our partners in Lufthansa Group, motivating others, and developing their team members’ skills.
  • As a Team Leader, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our software development projects and leading a team of talented developers. It is important to us that you will be able to come to our office in Gdańsk at least two days a week.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the development team in achieving sprint and PI objectives within Scrum and SAFe frameworks,
  • Mentoring and developing team members through regular one-on-one meetings, providing constructive feedback, and coaching,
  • Collaborating with other Team Leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders from the Digital Hangar ecosystem,
  • Co-creating and implementing employee development paths (performance reviews, promotions, development plans),
  • Motivating the team and fostering engagement, while promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration,
  • Addressing interpersonal and technical issues, mediating conflicts when necessary,
  • Monitoring the quality of delivered solutions, identifying and removing technical impediments,
  • Participating in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

Our requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Team Leader, Tech Leader, or in a similar role within development teams,
  • Strong technical skills – understanding of the software development lifecycle, system architecture, backend/frontend/devops technologies,
  • Highly developed soft skills: excellent communication including, empathy, ability to motivate and build trust,
  • English proficiency that allows effective communication in an international environment,
  • Proven experience working in agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe,
  • Ability to mentor, develop team competencies, and share knowledge,
  • Experience in conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and planning career development,
  • Ability to work with different personalities and resolve conflicts,
  • Proactive attitude, accountability, and a team-oriented mindset,
  • Readiness to work in a hybrid model - 2 days a week in the office in Gdańsk.

Optional

  • Experience in conducting technical recruitment processes will be a plus
