Requirements description

Expectations:

  • Deep knowledge of cloud architecture and infrastructure (preferably AWS)
  • Strong command of .NET and C#
  • Solid experience building and integrating RESTful and/or OData APIs
  • Comfort working with Docker and container orchestration tools (Fargate or Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with message queues and caching layers
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Pulumi)
  • Independence and strong ownership mindset

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Prior experience integrating with SAP OData services
  • Understanding of event-driven systems (e.g., Apache Pulsar, AsyncAPI)
  • Exposure to modern observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack)

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Cloud API Engineer to design and implement a cloud-based proxy solution for enterprise data APIs. If you’re confident in your skills with .NET, AWS, and API integrations, and you enjoy working autonomously in a modern engineering environment — we’d love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities

  1. You’ll play a key part in building a scalable proxy layer in the cloud for interfacing with SAP OData APIs. Your work will include:
  2. Developing and deploying a robust API proxy on AWS
  3. Translating OData elements into a unified, semantic data structure
  4. Optional) Publishing change data capture (CDC) events using tools like Apache Pulsar
