Requirements description

• Experience in managing MS SQL, Azure Cosmos
• Skilled at daily DBA management (diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, responding to incidents and quickly restoring services, delivering technical consultation to other units, etc.),
• Skilled at planning and controlling IT operations (defining, creating and ensuring following of standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with policies from Engineering and Cybersecurity, patching, upgrading, hardening, monitoring, etc.),
• Having proficiency in English, spoken and written
• Experienced with working for a financial institution (nice to have)

Your responsibilities

1. Supporting and improving database operations
2. Working in a team of over a dozen employees and external consultants
3. Closely collaborating with the Database Engineering team (governance, security, architecture & design) on project execution and defining the future of the infrastructure
4. Cooperating with an external company based in India responsible for daily operational support
5. Reducing the number and duration of major incidents
6. Optimizing resources (people’s work, servers, licenses, etc.)
