Requirements description

  • Advanced Excel (Power Query / Pivot), DSCP or comparable APS solution, and Power BI (or similar).
  • Solid ERP literacy.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation & project-management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Languages: English fluent (C1+).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Graduated in supply chain / business / economics or other related discipline.
  • 5+ years in demand planning / supply-chain roles, ideally in a multi-country scope and FMCG/consumer-goods environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership of S&OP or equivalent cross-functional planning forums.
  • Proven track record as system key-user or process owner for an advanced planning tool (DSCP, SAP IBP, OMP, etc.).

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As Demand Planning Lead you will ensure best-in-class product availability and forecast accuracy for European North Cluster (UK, Benelux, Nordics, CEE), safeguarding sales growth, service levels and working-capital targets. Leading  the Cluster S&OP cycle and acting as European key-user for the DSCP planning platform, you will drive continuous improvement in data quality, processes and system capabilities. You will closely cooperate with sales, marketing and customer service stakeholders in the cluster countries.

Your responsibilities

  1. Own the monthly demand consensus process for Cluster North.
  2. Challenge sales assumptions, monitor forecast KPI trends and communicate gaps to Sales, Finance & Controlling.
  3. Coordinate pre-S&OP and executive S&OP reviews, ensuring timely decision-making.
  4. Closely cooperate with the Supply Team based in France and Poland on the Cluster order plan.
  5. Monitor shortages, slow-movers and phase-in/-out items; design and execute corrective actions with Sales, Supply & Customer Service.
  6. Balance risk & opportunity to protect business and inventory targets.
