• Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 environments
• Good understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
• Experience working in large, regulated, multinational organizations

Job Title: Email Security Engineer (Proofpoint)

Contract Type: B2B (Business-to-Business)

Work Mode: Hybrid – 6 days per month in the office (preferably Kraków, optionally Warsaw)

Role Purpose

The Email Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving enterprise-level email security solutions, primarily based on Proofpoint. The role ensures Organisation is protected against email-based threats such as phishing, malware, and data loss. The engineer collaborates with internal cybersecurity, IT, architecture teams, and external vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

Your responsibilities

1. Configure, manage, and support Proofpoint email security technologies
2. Work closely with architecture, platform, and cybersecurity teams to align technical solutions with strategy
3. Monitor system health, threat activity, and handle incident response for email-related events
4. Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance protection and efficiency
5. Maintain engineering backlogs, prioritize work, and support continuous improvement
6. Ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
