Requirements description

What do you need to succeed? Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Network Security or similar Technology discipline or equivalent amount of education and/or work experience along with knowledge of security management and concepts.
  • 3–5 years of experience in patch management, vulnerability management, or endpoint security.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating system network protocols, and enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, CrowdStrike) and patching tools (e.g., SCCM C SCOM).
  • Familiarity with CVSS scoring, CVE identifiers, and threat prioritization frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, change management, and remediation workflows.
  • Use of Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Must have proven skills in technical issue resolution.
  • Must have excellent analytical, investigations, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Service Now and Power Bi

What is the opportunity?

As a Patching and Vulnerability Analyst, you will be responsible for the ongoing identification,

tracking, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across organization. This role will require close collaboration with infrastructure, application, risk, and compliance teams to reduce

risk exposure and ensure regulatory compliance through timely and effective patching and vulnerability management processes. The ideal candidate will have industry relevant qualifications and certifications, including strong relationship management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire staff, including promote a culture of high performance that celebrates inclusivity and innovation.

Your responsibilities

  1.        Analyze vulnerability data and assess impact, risk severity, and urgency using CVSS scores, threat intelligence, and business context.
  2.        Collaborate with cybersecurity, application, and infrastructure teams to drive remediation plans.
  3.        Coordinate and track patch deployment activities across endpoints, servers, databases, and network devices.
  4.        Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate
  5.        Research and assess emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  6.        Ensure timely application of security patches within defined SLAs in accordance with compliance requirements.
