Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS. You’ll join the team responsible for designing, building and scaling the backend systems that support our robot-powered delivery fleet.

Responsibilities:

• Order Integration: Build services that integrate orders from major food delivery platforms (DoorDash, UberEats, GrubHub) and internal systems.
• Delivery Management: Implement decision-making logic for routing, fleet coordination and exception handling based on real-time data.
• Logistics Optimization: Work closely with other teams to improve efficiency and resource usage across our platform.
• Operator Tools: Develop backend APIs supporting web and mobile tools used by our field team and remote operators.
• Device Infrastructure: Create services to communicate with robots – monitoring location, status, battery.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with NestJS.
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-native services.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Good command of English (documentation, discussions, code reviews).
